Raymond Edison Milliron the son of Albert Hensley and Dorothy Fogle was born February 5, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 27, 2019 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 22 days.
Raymond loved life and he loved his family. He joined the U.S. Army in November 1950, and was sent to Korea. While serving in the Korean War he was captured and held as a POW. He was very proud of his service, and he loved his country. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was camping, hunting or fishing. He loved running his junk store and going to auctions and flea markets. Helping people is what he loved most of all, and he did his best to help everyone that he could. He enjoyed working for the Police and Sheriff's department. He was known as Stilwell 99 or Adair 99, and he loved being able to help the agencies and the people that he came in contact with. He spent the last 7 years in the Claremore Veterans Home where he was given excellent care. Raymond was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Hensley and Dorothy Fogle; the parents that raised him Raymond and Mary Milliron; his wife Dellia Milliron; his sons Raymond Edison Milliron Jr., Albert Pete Milliron and Jerry Milliron; his daughter Mary Joice; and his sisters Cleta Snyder and Norma Sanders.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his children David Milliron and wife Patricia of Stilwell, Marie Jordan and husband Joe of Stilwell, Dianna Garcia and husband Jose of Stilwell and Linda Frazier of Locust Grove; his daughter-in-law Colleen Milliron of Peggs; 16 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
