On the early morning of Friday, January 6, 2023, Alonso Avila, a beloved husband, brother, and uncle passed peacefully. He was 58 years of age. He was a loving son to Inocencio and Dorame Avila. He was born in Los Angeles, California.
Alonso accepted the Lord and recommitted his life to the Lord. He was a faithful member of Chuculate Baptist Church. He loved his church family very much and prayed for them daily. He was able to attend until hi health began to fail.
Alonso was kindhearted and always willing to be of help to others. He enjoyed cooking and being outdoors. His occupation was that of a construction worker until he became the primary caretaker of his father.
He was preceded in death by Inocencio and Dorame Avila, Andy and Odie Gonzales, Denise and Philip Yingst and Richard Hawk.
He is survived by his wife, Janice, and his family members, Patricia Hawk, Betty Scraper, Frank and Velma Gonzales. He had many nieces and nephews whom he was very proud of and loved dearly and took pride in being their uncle, Rodney and Bridgett Hawk of Yukon, Gerald and Rachel Quezada of Tulsa, Kevin and Jamie Gonzales of Stilwell, Eric Allen Gonzales and Jessica McCollum of Stilwell, Whitney Hawk and Aila Ann of Minnesota, Taylor Hawk, Shelby Hawk, Nevaeh West-Hawk and Dylan West of Yukon, Daysha Hawk-Sanders, Alayla Hawk-Delonia of Tahlequah and Ezavyon Hawk-Quezada of Tulsa, Tevin Gonzales of Tulsa, Kaylee Gonzales, Christopher Andy Philip Gonzales and Moses Frank James Gonzales of Stilwell and Nohaleigh, Keelee and Phoenix Gonzales of Stilwell.
