Bertha Ketcher

Bertha Lorean Ketcher age 88, of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away June 30, 2023 at the Stilwell Memorial Hospital.

Bertha was born September 19, 1935 to Shelby and Myrtle (Pack) Girdner in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Bertha grew up in Stillwell and graduated from UG Cave Springs High School.

On November 28, 1953 Bertha married L.J. Ketcher Sr in Stilwell, Oklahoma where they made their home. Bertha was a homemaker and loved watching the grandkids. L.J. preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons L.J. Ketcher Jr. of Westville, Clifford Ketcher and wife Elizabeth, and Noah Ketcher both of Stilwell; one brother Jerry and Cherlyene Girdner of Stilwell; seven grandchildren Ashleigh Auffet and husband Zack, Melissa Ayo and husband Jake, Philip Ketcher and wife Rylee, Timothy Ketcher and wife Hannah, Patrick Ketcher and wife Jordan, Noah Ketcher, Jacob Ketcher, Josh Ketcher and Channing Auffett; Nine great grandchildren , Adain Auffet, Braeleigh Auffet, Emily Ketcher, Raleigh Ayo, Rowen Ayo, Ace Ketcher, Dax Ketcher, and Nora Lynn Ketcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Charles Girdner and one sister Mary (Girdner) Wheeler.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the Bunch Cemetery with Max Ford officiating under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.
