Bob Gaches, Sr.

Bob Charles Gaches Sr. passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2016 at the age of 82. He was born on August 27th, 1934 to Boyd and Pearl Gaches.

He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Pearl Robison on July 6th, 1954. Together they have a loving family, Bobby & April Gaches Jr., of Gentry, ARK, Marlene & Alvie Arnold, of Colcord, OK, Karen Gaches of Mt. Pleasant, SC, James & Katie Gaches, of Stilwell, OK and LaDonna Gaches of Stilwell, OK. He was a loving grandfather to his 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Boyd, mother Pearl, his sisters, Ruby Vaughn, Maxine Wolf and Kathlene Cowan. Also his granddaughter, Bobbi Lynn Gaches and grandson, Nathan Gaches.

He is survived by his brother, Farris Gaches and sisters, Edna Anderson and Joyce Wolf.
Bob served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959 and went on to serve in the National Guard until 1969. He worked in the canning industry as plant manager for Allen Canning Company from 1970 until he retired in 1996.

He had a special interest in automobiles and spent many days with his family at car shows in Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
He was loved unconditionally by his wife, children and grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones and will be dearly missed.

Formal family visitation will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6 - 8pm and funeral services will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughn and Bro. Joe Carl Wolf officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
