Carole A. Edwards the daughter of John and Flora (Jones) Bearpaw was born May 1, 1937 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 17, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 16 days.

Carole spent most of her life away from Stilwell working as an underwriter for MetLife Insurance. She retired from MetLife in 1994 and moved back to Stilwell. She loved her family and enjoyed watching TV and going out to eat. Carole touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Bradley Moore; a special friend Jack Waterdown; and her sisters Theda Hunter, Floella McCune, Maxine Girdner, and Patricia Bearpaw.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her son Kyle Moore of Lawton; her step-daughters Brandy Edwards and Randy Lynn Edwards of Texas; her sisters Johnye Hammons and husband Paul of Tulsa, Beverly Gleghorn and husband Jim of Tulsa, Jennie Brown of Ohio, and Lynn DeGarimore of Tulsa; and her granddaughter Kaitlyn Moore. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
