Charles Green

Charles "Chooch" Green was born on March 12, 1955 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Audie and Polly (Flynn) Green. He departed this life on September 5, 2022 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending time with his family, camping and going to church. He was a good man who helped many people with whatever they needed, like house repairs, working on cars, bailing hay and he loved to cook and eat deer meat. He was an original member of Four Visions Baptist Church for 24 years. He was a Christian by faith and he was saved in July of 1999. He married Nellie Daugherty on May 22, 1981 and together they raised 7 children and 4 grandkids, Nakyah, Kylee, Nekoda and Nya.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons Darren Daugherty and Robert Pritchett, one granddaughter Candace Proctor Smith and one sister Nellie (Green) Bearpaw.

He is survived by his wife Nellie of the home; 5 sons Steven Daugherty and wife Colleen of Sallisaw, OK, Tommy Green and wife Charity of Tahlequah, OK, Jeffrey Flynn and wife Monica of Briggs, OK, Damon Green and companion Stephanie of Stilwell, OK and Daniel Green of Stilwell, OK; 2 daughters Leslie Fourkiller and husband Robert of Stilwell, OK and Nivea Drake of Fort Gibson, OK; 2 sisters Anna Brown and husband Hank and Pauline Linville and husband Kenneth; 31 grandkids, 15 great grandkids, 3 best friends George Hampton, Hank Brown and Charles Watie along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
