Charles Tuell Sr.

Charles Tuell Sr. passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on July 20, 1936, in Claremore, Oklahoma, Charley was the son of Rayburn and Edna Tuell.

As a beloved husband to his late wife Joanne Tuell and a cherished father, Charley will be deeply missed by his surviving daughter Nancy Davidson and her partner Jim Dunn, sons William Tuell and wife Leanna, and Joseph Tuell and wife Ruby. He was preceded in death by his son Charles Tuell, Jr.

Charley's memory will also be carried on by his brothers Luland Tuell and Floyd Tuell, sister Janice Thurber, 13 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember his kind and helping nature.

Throughout his life, Charley found joy in hunting, fishing, playing stringed instruments by ear, crafting homemade knives, and sharing his skills as an electrician to help others.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Charley's life will be held at Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell on April 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place at the same location from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Following the service, Charley will be laid to rest in Blackwood Cemetery.

The Tuell family warmly welcomes all who knew Charley to join them in honoring his memory and celebrating his remarkable life at the upcoming services. May he rest in peace.
