Cherry Carson

Cherry Lee Carson was born October 14, 1935 in Clearfork, OK to Clyde Owen and Beulah Agnes (McCoy) Morris. She departed this life on December 8, 2015 in her home in Chance, OK at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 19 days.

Cherry was raised in the Clearfork community. She graduated from Westville High School in 1954. She married Lloyd Felix Carson on March 13, 1954. To this union was born three children. She was a homemaker and farmer.

Cherry was preceded in death by her parents Clyde Morris in July of 1970, Beulah Morris in April of 1993, her husband Lloyd Carson in January of 1990, two brothers Haskell and Clark (Bull) Morris, two sisters, Pauline Hampton and Margaret Mae Neimeyer.

Cherry is survived by her daughter Lenora and Ron Neff of Jackson, TN; her two sons Morris and Mary Carson of Broken Arrow, OK, Spencer and Cynthia Carson of Westville, OK; her granddaughter Cory Neff of Jackson, TN; her grandson Dalton Carson of Westville, OK; her brother Herbert and Wilma Lee Morris, of Broken Arrow, OK; her sister Patt Brown of Independence, MO; her brother-in-law Mac Hampton of Westville, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Old Baptist Mission with Bro. Darryl Self officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
