Cheryl Watt

Cheryl Lynn Bateman Watt, the daughter of David Bateman and Betty Sue (Bennett) Bailey, was born November 21, 1981, in Houma, Louisiana. She passed from this life February 18, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Cheryl was married to Jeffrey Lee Watt and their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Violet. They soon would have been welcoming their second child. She enjoyed helping Jeffrey promote his Native American artwork. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She attended the Stilwell Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Thomas Bailey.

Cheryl leaves behind a loving family which includes, her husband, Jeffrey Watt, of the home in Tahlequah; daughter, Violet Rain Watt, of the home; mother, Sue Bailey, of the home; father, David Bateman and wife, Lynda, of Altha, FL; sisters, Michelle Sharron, of Rogersville, TN, Stephanie Bateman, of Nashville, TN and Cassandra Penello, of Altha, FL; father-in-law, Junea Watt, of Westville; sister-in-law, Kayla Watt, of Westville; brother-in-law, Jesse Watt and wife, Sandra, of Westville; grandparents, Wynelle Bateman and Vance Bateman; nephews, Alex Sharron and Justin Hendrix; nieces, Cassie Hendrix, Melissa Hendrix, Breanna Hendrix, Ashley Diaz and Amber Diaz. Many other friends and loved ones also survive her.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Larry Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Old Green Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
