Clifford Monday

April 10, 1947 — August 18, 2015

After an exacting battle with cancer, Clifford Farrell Monday died on August 18, 2015 surrounded by his family at home in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was 68 years old.

Clifford was born on April 10, 1947 in Monroe, Michigan to Jesse & Juanita Monday who both precede him in death.

Clifford loved the outdoors and gardening. There was nothing he liked more than spending time with family and friends.

For several years Clifford worked at Cherokee Nation Industries in Stilwell, Oklahoma and eventually went on to work remodeling department stores for DAVCO out of Dallas, Texas until he retired due to health reasons.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Claudette Kay O'Dell; and his daughter Zandra Kay Brown.

Clifford leaves behind his wife Hattie of 32 years; his son Shonn Monday & wife Debra of Ware, Massachusetts; his son Michael Chad Monday & friend Teressa Byfield of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; his brother Donald & wife Jorda of Monroe, Michigan; his brother-in-law Bob O'Dell of Monroe, Michigan; his son-in-law David Brown of Cleburne, Texas; his stepchildren Diane Raigoza; Michelle Cardenas; Tonya Montoya; Rick Raigoza; and their families. Clifford also leaves several nieces & nephews; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren as well as his very special friend Bobby Longshore & wife Frances.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell with Bro. Gil Hooper officiating.
