Daniel Acorn

Daniel David Acorn was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on July 8,1973 to William Acorn and Patricia Jones. He passed from this life July 2, 2020 in Welling, Oklahoma at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 24 days.

Daniel graduated from Stilwell High School in 1991 and later attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He went on to complete his education at Notre Dame and graduated in 2008. Upon graduation, he remained there working and teaching at the university. Daniel returned to Oklahoma and resided in Welling, Oklahoma for the past 6 years.

He was an avid sports fan and loved to support his favorite teams which were the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, William Acorn and his grandparents, French and Delia Acorn.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Jones and husband Ronald Jones of Fort Smith, AR; brother, Kenneth Acorn and wife Brandi of Stilwell, OK, Christopher Jones and wife Aleyah of Fort Smith, AR, Christian Jones and fiance Crystal Diaz of Fort Smith, AR; grandparents, Louis and Gladys Alonzo of Albuquerque, NM, aunt, Louise Alonzo of Albuquerque, NM; two nephews, Michael Acorn and Zachary Cook of Stilwell, OK. Many other relatives and friends also survive him.
