Danny Brannon

Danny Earl Brannon was born on June 11, 1952, in Westville, Oklahoma, to proud parents J.T. and Evelyn Benett Brannon. A devoted son and brother, Danny's upbringing in the Holiness Faith instilled in him a strong moral compass and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Throughout his life, Danny was known for his love of hunting, fishing, and his cherished hunting dogs, embodying the spirit of an avid outdoorsman. After a fulfilling career at Adair County District 2, Danny retired to fully embrace his passions and spend quality time with his loved ones.

On February 22, 2024, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, Danny Brannon peacefully passed away, leaving behind his beloved wife, Joy Brannon, his sons Josh Brannon and Danny Brannon (Tasha), his granddaughter Keisha Brannon, his brother Lloyd Petree Jr., and his sisters Nancy Johnson and Linda Workman.

In the coming days, private graveside services will be held to honor and remember Danny's life, celebrating the countless memories he shared with those closest to him. His legacy of love, laughter, and appreciation for the natural world will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
