Delores Meissner

Delores Eagle Meissner, age 74 of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Stilwell Nursing & Rehab.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma with Max Ford officiating and Chris Soap reading obituary. Burial will follow in the Stilwell Cemetery under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.

Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Delores Eagle Meissner was born February 24, 1949 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Jim and Maude (Flynn) Eagle. She grew up in Stilwell, Oklahoma and graduated from the Sequoyah High School. Delores then attended Northeastern State University.

She was a residential advisor and also a CNA at the Senior Housing in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Delores loved to collect antiques, refurbish antiques, read, write, flowers and sewing.

Survivors include three daughters Angela and husband Bill Morgan, Sandra and husband Rodney Smith, Cristina and husband Jeremy French; nine grandchildren Chance Scott, Stephanie and husband Robert Fletcher, Madilyn Morgan, Miranda Catcher, Seth Kent, Krista Ken, Nakiah French, Kyla French, and Shylnn French; one great granddaughter Jeannetta “Panda” White; three sisters Christine Feeling, Louise Eagle and Dorothy Foster.

She was preceded in death by siblings Jimmy Jr. Eagle, James Garland Eagle, Lawrence Eagle, Columbus Eagle, Eugene Eagle and Daisy Eagle.
