Edward Cowan

March 27, 1959 — February 13, 2022

Edward Lee Cowan, Jr. of Tontitown, AR was born on March 27, 1959, in Fort Smith, AR the son of Edward Lee Cowan, Sr. and Bessie (Brown) Cowan. He passed away of February 13, 2022, at the age of 62.

Edward was the Jack of all trades and could do just about anything he put his mind to. He had many degrees from the University of Arkansas, John Brown University, and other schools. He worked as a Nurse at the VA Medical Center and was also a pastor for quite some time making a huge impact on everyone he knew and loved speaking God's Word. Having the title as Pastor didn't stop him from enjoying the fun things in life, such as having a black belt in taekwondo, having a love for Porsche cars, flying planes, traveling to all sorts of fun places, going to museums, but most of all he just wanted to be around his family and his beloved cats that him and Rebecca rescued. You could ask anyone and they would tell you that talking about all the wonderful stories, memories, and fun times with Edward you would have to write a book because there are so many wonderful things about him. He will be missed dearly by everyone he knows and loves.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Lee Cowan, Sr. and Bessie (Brown) Cowan a granddaughter Tabitha Roberts.
