On Monday, August 29, 2022, Ida May Lary born December 19, 1930 in Highland California departed this life in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to her new home in heaven at the age of 91.
Ida raised her boys, graduated beauty school and cared deeply about anyone that she would come in contact with. She loved everyone and wished well for all in this life. She loved telling stories, reading, working puzzles and puzzle books and collecting and sharing recipes and recipe books. She loved and enjoyed gospel music and hearing how her grandkids were doing and boy could she whistle the prettiest of anyone ever heard. Ida was a kind, soft, and gentle spirit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Thelma Gardner; her husband Calvin Lary Sr.; her son Joe Byron Lary, her brothers Joseph Hunt and Byron Gardner, and her sisters, Helen Shellnut and Mary Gardner.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Lee Lary and wife Regina of Broken Arrow Ok. Calvin Lary Jr. Of Muskogee Ok. Sister Avis Choate of Marble City Ok. And her children James and Debbie. Grandchildren Josh, Kimberly, and Kristen Lary, Jennifer Waldrop and husband Max, and Darla Langdale; Tasha Dick and husband Michael, Tim Bowers and wife Adrianne, Nathan Bowers and wife Jessica. Great grandchildren, AJ Romero, and Isabella. Kelsey, Kinley, Kolby Dick and Ethan. Garret, Gabryelle, Aiden, Averett, and Abel Bowers. As well as many wonderful other family members and friends.
Ida now walks the streets of gold in her brand-new home because she believed in Jesus... and you can too.
