It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jamie Leroy Unger on March 2, 2024, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Born on April 14, 1970, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to George and Iva (Chuculate) Unger.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father George Unger, Sr., his sister Sherry Lynn Unger and brother Johnny Ray Unger. Jamie is survived by his mother, Iva, and his brothers George Unger Jr, Jackson Unger, David Unger (Tammy), and Jeremy Unger, along with his sisters Paula Unger and Kristi Unger. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Jamie's life will be held at Ewing Chapel Cemetery on March 7, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place at Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell at 11:00 am on the same day.

As we come together to honor and pay our respects to Jamie Leroy Unger, let us remember his warmth, kindness, and the love he shared with all who knew him. May he rest peacefully in the loving embrace of his family and friends.
