Jananna E. Foster, the daughter of R.K. and Madalynn Paden Wade, was born January 21, 1930, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on August 14, 2014, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 23 days.
Jananna was a graduate of Stilwell High School and later attended Odessa College, receiving an associate degree. She was employed by Shell Oil for over 30 years as an office administrator. After her retirement, Jananna worked as a substitute teacher for Stilwell Schools from 19902007.
Jananna was married to Loren Bud Lowdermilk on June 10, 1949. After Buds passing on January 13, 1997, she married Clay Foster on November 16, 2006.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Legion Auxiliary and a longtime member of the Eastern Star and past Worthy Matron. Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting and gardening.
Those preceding her in death include, her parents, R.K. and Madlynn Wade, husband, Bud Lowdermilk, brothers, Sam Blakemore and McClure Blakemore and a great grandson, Joell.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family which includes, her son, Shorty Lowdermilk and wife, Rhonda, of Cheyenne, Wyoming three sisters, Joan Isaacs, of Arizona, Mary Maud Thomason, of Oklahoma and Peggy Thompson, of Oklahoma two brothers, Jack Wade, of Arizona and Noon Blakemore, of Stilwell two grandchildren, Chad Lowdermilk and Jeremy Lowdermilk and five great grandchildren, Kayle, Hunter, Conner, Peyton and Cailin. Many other friends and loved ones also survive her.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Rose LeRoy officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
