Tahlequah

Jimmy Dale Hopkins, born on October 16, 1957, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, left this world on April 20, 2025, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was a loving brother, devoted uncle, and an enthusiastic outdoorsman whose presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy was cherished by his siblings, including his sisters Janie Nofire, Kathy Alexander, Rita Fields, and Lloyd Hopkins, and his brothers Ronnie Hopkins and Sam Hopkins. He took immense joy in the lives of his numerous nieces and nephews, relishing the opportunity to be involved in their lives and support them as they grew.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Jimmy found peace and happiness while fishing and exploring nature. His zest for life was infectious, and he often shared his experiences with his family, igniting their own passions for the natural world. He had a gift for connecting with others, and his warm heart left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Pauline Hopkins, whose loving guidance shaped the man he became. He is also mourned by his late nephew, Isaac Drain, as well as his late nephew Andy Hopkins and niece Amanda Fields.

As we remember Jimmy Dale Hopkins, we honor his legacy of love and warmth that continues to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind. His spirit will remain in the hearts of his family and friends, and we will cherish the beautiful moments we shared with him throughout his life.
