After returning home, his professions included sales, a hotshot driver for ACME Truck Lines, and a truck driver for Berry Global, no one was more bonafide, as he would say. He has lived in several places throughout Texas and in Oklahoma and established many lifelong friendships. John met the love of his life and best friend, Lindsey, in Oklahoma City in 2002. They married in Muskogee, OK on August 20, 2005. They were perfect together and filled every day with so many wonderful experiences and memories. He enjoyed family time with their children, Cheyenne and Hunter and he was so proud of them in every aspect. His children were his world and he enjoyed a life of laughter and love with them. John had an adventurous spirit and loved spending time with family and friends, whether it be by the pool, lake, river, or his favorite, beachside. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and an avid OU Football and Softball fan. John had an infectious smile that could light up a room and had the most generous heart. John touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
