Johnny Vann

Johnny Ray Vann, Jr., of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 58. Johnny was born the son of Johnny Vann, Sr., and Nona (Williams) Vann in Santana, Kansas.

Johnny enjoyed life and he loved his family. He was very proud of his Indian Heritage and liked Indian art. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was an OU Sooners fan and loved watching sports, especially football. He enjoyed listening to music and liked going for drives down old country roads. Although Johnny was quiet, he could be quite witty. He loved to pester and tease people - it was his way. He will be missed by all those who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Theresa Vann; brother Stephen Douglas Vann; great nephew Kaden Crow, great niece Lilly Hignite and nephew, Seth Crow.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his sisters Carolyn Crow of Tahlequah and Dee Pearson and husband John of Fayetteville, several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
