Lenard Poor

Lenard Leroy Poor, son of Everett and Irene Palone Poor was born May 16, 1939 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2023 at the age of 83.


Lenard's mother passed away when he was only three days old. His dad was in the Army so Lenard was raised by a special aunt and uncle, Pearl and John Poor.


Lenard was saved at the age of 27 and was called to preach around 29 years of age. He pastored several churches in the surrounding area and continued in the ministry for over 50 years.


Lenard was married to Myrtle Ann Kester for 52 years until her death in 2010. In 2014, Lenard married Geneva Kelly Wilson and they shared 8 1/2 years together.


Preceding him in death were his parents, Everett and Irene Poor, special aunt and uncle, Pearl and John Poor, his first wife Myrtle Ann Poor and brother Grady Poor.


He leaves behind a loving family which includes, his wife Geneva Poor of the home; stepchildren Pat Butler, Jim Wilson and wife Threresa, Jack Wilson and wife Pam, Bryan Wilson and wife Tammy, all of Stilwell; Earlene Olinghouse Fuson, Winnie Olinghouse and Faye Olinghouse who were loved like daughters; sister-in-law Sue Poor of Stilwell and special cousin Shirley from California.
