Lottie Dot Littlejohn Cain was born March 24, 1938 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to George Washington Adair Littlejohn and Elizabeth M. Brown Littlejohn. She went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2016 at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 77.
Dot was a lifelong resident of Stilwell. She attended Dalonegah Grade School and graduated from Stilwell High School in 1957. She was married to Robert Floyd Cain in Tahlequah on March 2, 1957 and to this union was born six sons, Jr., Jerry, Clayton, Clifton, T.J. and Jaden.
Dot enjoyed sewing, milking cows, gardening and cooking. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed making clothing for her grandchildren. She was always available to nurse her sick family and neighbors back to health and was an "angel on earth" to many, many people. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and "granny".
Dot attended the Noel Chapel Church of Christ since 1949. She worked for Tyson Foods for many years. She was "Granny" for Rocky Mountain Schools until her final illness.
Those preceding her in death include, her parents, George Washington Adair Littlejohn and Elizabeth M. Brown Littlejohn, her husband, Robert Floyd Cain, two sons, Clayton Cain and Clifton D. "Snooks" Cain, two brothers, Carl Stanley and Earl Ray Littlejohn, two nieces and grandson, Kevin Cain.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, four sons, Jr. Cain and wife, Debra, Jerry Cain, T.J. Cain and Jaden Cain, all of Stilwell; brother, J. Dewayne Littlejohn and wife, Goldie, of Stilwell; sister, Dovie Mae Littlejohn, of Stilwell. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other friends and loved ones also survive her.
