Marjorie Murphy

Marjorie Eileen Murphy, the daughter of William Dallas and Eva Lee (Cousins) Campbell, was born June 4, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on October 20, 2015, in Tulsa, at the age of 64 years.

Marjorie grew up in the Tulsa area and attended Webster High School. She was married to James David Murphy in Denver, Colorado on March 10, 1973 and their union was blessed with three children, Destanie, Michael and Kari. They were happily married for 42 years.

Marjorie received her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked many years in the nursing field. She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets and taking trips through the countryside. She loved keeping her family close and enjoyed holidays and special get-togethers.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, Bill and Eva Campbell, sister, Nan Campbell and two brothers, Wallace Campbell and William Campbell, Jr.

Marjorie is survived by her loving husband, James Murphy, of the home; children, Destanie Faye Alberty, Michael Campbell Murphy and Kari Ann Hummingbird, all of Stilwell; grandchildren, James B. Murphy, J. Jaze Hummingbird, Micah R. Murphy, Magi M. Hummingbird and Jason A. Hummingbird and her sisters, Linda K. Mooseman, of Tahlequah and Lynn Campbell, of Muskogee.
