Melissa Ann Davis, of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away on May 8, 2022 at her home at the age of 52. Melissa was born on November 30, 1969, the daughter of Watie Colston, Jr. and Kathy Dandridge in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Melissa never met a stranger and was such a kind soul. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone. Melissa married the love of her life, Barney Davis on December 28, 2014, at the First Christian Church in Stilwell. She enjoyed drawing, doing puzzles, loved animals of any kind especially her dogs, she loved to be around her family and make memories, she was a hippy at heart and loved 60's and 70's music as well as the bright colors and tie dye. Melissa didn't always have it easy, but always made it work and moved forward to continue on. She wanted to get closer to God and made the right decisions doing so by going to a couple of her favorite churches which are Powerhouse and Church on the Rock in Stilwell. Melissa was the most amazing friend to anyone who knew her. She will be missed by everyone she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Davis; grandparents, Joe Samuel Dandridge, Ruby Ann Dandridge Johnson, Waddie and Bonnie Colston; step grandfather, Jack E. Johnson; uncles, Kenneth E. Dandridge, Monroe Colston and Larry Colston.
She is survived by her family, which includes her mother, Kathy Dandridge; children, Ceeth Noblin Jr. and wife Marian, Vicente Hernandez and fiancé Marcia Helton and Joseph Latta; brothers, Gary Colston, Jason Colston, Gaylen Colston, Eldon Colston; sister, Mira Colston; grandchildren, Leon Noblin, Devin Noblin, Jack Noblin and Adrien Dye; aunts, Latish Williams and Carolyn Wright; uncles, Dosson Colston, Jimmy Colston and Raymond Colston. Melissa also leaves behind numerous family and friends.
