Nellie Green

Nellie Sue (Daugherty) Green was born on September 13, 1949 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Hooley and Don (Bird) Daugherty and later adopted by Nancy Pritchett.  She departed this life on April 21, 2023 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

She and Charles Green made a home in Sally Bull and later married on May 22, 1981.  Together they raised seven children.  Nellie worked as a provider and later as a CNA at Stilwell Nursing Home for over 30 years.  She also worked at Siloam Springs Nursing Home for three years.  She retired and became a homemaker.  She enjoyed gospel singing, family time, sewing quilts, watching soap operas, garage saling, gardening and raising all kinds of flowers.  She was a member of Mulberry Tree Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, five brothers, six sisters and her husband.

She is survived by her children, Steven Daugherty and wife Colleen, Leslie Fourkiller and husband Robert, Tommy Green and wife Charity, Damon and Daniel Green; stepson Jeff Flynn and wife Monica; brothers Harry Daugherty, Sam Daugherty and wife Diane and Rufus Pritchett; one sister Callie Taylor, 31 grandkids and 15 great grandkids.
