Nettie Walkingstick

Nettie Mae Brown Walkingstick, daughter of Frank Emma Buckner Brown was born February 24, 1925 in Stilwell, OK. She passed from this life on September 14, 2014 in Stilwell at the age of 89.
She was married to Jesse Walkingstick and to this union was born five children: Terry Lee, Pamela Kay, Jessica Mae, Rick Emmitt and Roger Dale.

Nettie was employed at Stilwell Foods for 25 years and was a Foster Grandparent at Maryetta Schools for 15 years. She was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ in Stilwell.

She loved to cook for family dinners and church dinners and she loved to plant care for her flowers around her home. Nettie loved to care for her family and friends which she had many.

She is survived by daughters, Pam Ketcher husband Gene of Stilwell, OK, Jessica Chastain husband Darrell of Springdale, AR, sons, Rick Walkingstick wife Paula of Watts, OK, Roger Walkingstick wife Jan of Piedmont, OK Nine grandchildren, Gina Stand husband Brad of Fayetteville, AR, Lana Teehee Andrea Ketcher of Stilwell, OK, Jennifer Graham of Springdale, AR, Shelley Myran husband Brandon of Springdale, AR, Tammy McMahon husband Jeremy of Bakersfield, CA, Jeremy Walkingstick wife Kristy of Watts, OK, Joshua Walkingstick Cory Walkingstick of Oklahoma City, OK Fourteen great grandchildren, Amber Stand, Jon Teehee wife Delana, Halle Tyrus Teehee, Brooklynn Eagle, Dane Cade Myran, Hadley Kinley Graham, Katlyn Ben McMahon, Aislyn, Sammy Emily Walkingstick. one greatgreat grandson, Jevson Teehee five sistersinlaw, Ruby Brown of Westville, OK, Allie Brown, of Bakersfield, CA, Jennie Moore, CA., Mary Kay Swafford, CA, Ada Smith, OR, two brothersinlaw, Henry Ritter of Wichita, KS, Lawrence Walkingstick, CA. Many nieces nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones also survive her.

She is preceded in death by six brothers, John R. Brown, Jim Brown, Mack Brown, Bill Brown, Frankie Brown, Zeke Brown four sisters, Rita Littlejohn, Julia Asbill, Imogene Ritter, Barbara Boen one son, Terry Lee Walkingstick one grandson, Ryan Gene Ketcher one great granddaughter, Cari Jo Teehee one greatgreat granddaughter, Kyria Hope Howard.
