Funeral services for Paul Franklin Burris will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday February 10, 2017 at the Hart Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wendell Haugh officiating. Paul Franklin Burris the son of Thomas Frank and Lena (Still) Burris was born October 15, 1935 in Baron, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 6, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 22 days.

Paul loved life and loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved going fishing, playing cards and dominoes and riding the occasional roller coaster. Paul touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Nona Burris of the home; his children Darlene Drywater and husband Bo of Tahlequah, Wynona Robison and husband James of Stilwell, Paul Burris Jr. and wife Evie of Proctor, Debbie Beaver and Robert Calicott of Stilwell, William Burris and wife Sheila of Stilwell, David Burris of Stilwell and Paula Burris and Mark Tate of Stilwell; his brother Richard Burris and wife Barbara of Claremore; 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
