Phillip Alan "Al" Vann was born December 16, 1975 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed away on November 28, 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Alan attended grade school at Maryetta from Kindergarten through 8th grade and went on to Stilwell High School.
Alan loved sports, music, reading and anything to do with wrestling. He was an avid OU fan and supported his team in victory or defeat. He enjoyed concerts and was always listening to music, especially, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, originally known as Black Crowes. He liked going places, anywhere there was water, and would takes pictures and post them on Facebook.
He was a proud father to his son, Christopher Connor Charles Vann, whom he loved more than anything. Alan was a very unique individual and knew without any doubt that he was loved. He is at peace in God's Kingdom.
Alan was preceded in death by one brother, Charles "Gibbey" Vann, paternal grandparents, Lyman Vann and Elsie Vann and maternal grandfather, Charles Chewey.
He is survived by one son, Christopher Connor Charles Vann, of the home; his love of 7 years, Jennifer Sue Shrum, of the home; his parents, Thomas Michael and Anita Vann, of Stilwell; one brother, Lance Vann, of Stilwell; his maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Chewey, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
