Robert Urbanski

Robert Bartholomew Urbanski, the son of Stanley and Margaret (Meidl) Urbanski, was born December 26, 1925, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He passed from this life on January 27, 2015, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 89.

Robert was a retired military chief petty officer, serving in the U.S. Navy for 22 years. He was married to Frances Lorraine Patrin who preceded him in death in 1998.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Robert moved to Stilwell in 1986. He was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie Grove, AR and the V.F.W. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, watching football, attending car shows and listening to country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Margaret Urbanski, his wife, Frances Urbanski and second wife, Ellene Urbanski.

His surviving family includes, his children, Robin Feist and husband, Gerald, of Minnesota, Frank Urbanski and wife, Lorie, of Minnesota, Carrol Smith and husband, Kenneth, of Stilwell, Bartholomew Urbanski and wife, Ely, of North Carolina; sisters, Marge Poscelet and Donna; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Other friends and loved ones also survive him.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Zirbel officiating. Interment will follow at Piney Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
