Verna "Sue" Rich

Verna Sue Rich age 87 of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Westville City Cemetery under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.

Visitation hours will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hart Funeral Home.

Verna Sue Rich was born July 14, 1935 in Bunch, Oklahoma to Jay and Myrtle (Painter) Bolin. After graduating from High School. Sue married Virgil Black in 1956. In 1971, Sue married Verlin Rich. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She loved to ball point paint, plant flowers, visiting with people, reading her Bible and loved to pray for people. Sue was part of the Stilwell Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include three daughters Glenda Black, Rena Poindexter and husband Ernest, and Patty Medlin  and husband Scott; grandchildren Randy Poindexter, Sarah Poindexter, Nathan Medlin and Holly Black; one brother Leon Bolin, two sisters Jewell Hall and husband Pat, and Sadie Isaccs and husband Dusty; and a very special friend Mark; and a host of several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son Robby Ray Black and baby Poindexter, three brothers Andrew Bolin, Loy "Bud" Bolin, George Bolin; four sisters Beatrice Carr, Margaret Bunch, Daisy Phillips, and Katie Fleig.
