Vernile “Babe” Girdner, age 77, passed away on October 4, 2020 at her home in Cookson, OK. She was born on April 3, 1943, in Bunch, OK to parents Eliza Jane (Glass) Hallmark and Bill Girdner. She was always happy to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to visit with her friends and neighbors. Her favorite thing to do was visit the “gathering place” Cherokee Casino. She said that is where she can see people from all over. A game of Farkle was always welcome and she was competitive.
