Virginia Vernon

Virginia Elaine departed this life on October 9, 2023, in Westville, Oklahoma. She was born on March 3, 1968 to Angie and Henry Rolus in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Virginia married her teenage love, Charlie Vernon, and spent over 40 wonderful years together. They welcomed their daughter, Ashley, into their lives in 1997. Virginia enjoyed crafting, cats or “baby kitties” specifically, Pepsi, gardening, and Camel 99s. Most of all, she cherished her family and friends.

Virginia dedicated over 20 years of her life to working at Sonic in Sayre, Oklahoma, and in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. More recently, she spent five years employed by Casey's. She was known as an extremely dedicated and outstanding employee and always gave her best in everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, one brother, two sisters, one nephew, and her cherished friend, Eleta. Virginia had a large family and a wide circle of friends, her passing leaves a devastating void in all of their lives.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband, Charlie, her daughter, Ashley, foster daughter Madison, two brothers, a sister, several nieces and nephews, as well as her four bonus daughters and three bonus sons. She also has a sister-in-love (law). Virginia lived in Sayre, Little Kansas, and most recently Stilwell, Oklahoma.
