Wilamina Lemonds

Wilamina H. Jo Lemonds died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Tahlequah city hospital following a brief illness.
She leaves 3 children, Sharon Smith and husband Claude of Euless, Texas, Paula Wiseley and husband Ron of Stilwell, and Steve Lemonds and wife Tonya of Kansas City, Kansas, 8 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
Jo was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on July 26, 1925, one of four daughters of Joe and Ruth Herring all of whom preceded her in death. She raised her children in Owasso, Oklahoma and later moved to Tulsa where she was employed as an Executive Secretary and Computer Programmer. She spent her employment years with Douglas Aircraft, Livingston Oil Company, and Southport Exploration.
After retirement she lived in Tahlequah until her death.
Burial will be in Stilwell Cemetery following a private graveside service.
