Marion Glen Loosier, age 88 of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Hill Crest South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday December 5, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home with Brother Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Friends may leave online condolences at www.hartfuneralhome.net.
The family has suggested memorials to the National Kidney Foundation.
Glen was born February 17, 1934 in Maydale, Texas to James Monroe and Mamie Lee Ellen (Pool) Loosier. He grew up in the Ennis, Texas area and graduated from the Ennis High School. Glen worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 40 years receiving numerous awards. He loved fishing and gardening and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
On April 15, 2005 Glen married Elizabeth Raleigh in Talihina, Oklahoma and the couple made their home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth of the home; four children Glenda Wulff of Ennis, Texas, Cynthia Luan Davis of Ennis, Texas, Terry Glen Loosier of Ennis, Texas and Lea Loosier Martin of Abilene, Texas; four step children Katherine Turman of Harrah, Oklahoma, Dwight Meridith and Kenneth Meridith both of Westville, Oklahoma and Sheila Blondell of Stilwell, Oklahoma; siblings James Monroe Loosier, Joe David Loosier and Joy Ann Nelson. Caregiver Jessie Meridith and numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Family and Friends. He was preceded in death by one brother Perry Joe Loosier; one half brother and three half sisters.
