Obituary

Tim Johnson, passed away at home in Welling, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, surrounded by love. Tim was born on December 20, 1946 in Welling, Oklahoma. He was the son of Columbus Rice and Galela Mae Johnson.

Tim is survived by his mother, Galela Johnson, his sister, Retia O’Neal, his two brothers, Kenny and Letha Johnson and Keith Johnson, his 3 children, Tanya and Ben Johnson, Kendra Smith and Bryan Coon, and Miranda and Kendall Hansen, his 8 grandchildren, Rheanna, Rachelle, Alexa, Nicole, Joey, Mykel, Tristen and Braye, his 2 great-grandchildren, Bryce and Lorelai Jo, his sisters in law, Diane Johnson, Kathy and Buck Swake and Sue and John Berry, his brother in law, Claudie and Irene Vaughan, countless nieces and nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Tim was proceeded in death by his wife, Georgia Ann, his father, Columbus Rice Johnson, his parents in law, Richard and Rosa Mae Vaughan, his sister, Elaine Jennings, his brother Dwight Johnson, his sisters in law, Edith Morton, Kaylene Vaughan-Guinn, Louise Massey, bother in law Lonnie Vaughan, nieces, Kasey Vaughan and Melanie Berry.

For the last 10 years, Tim spent his time hunting and fishing, as he was an avid sportsman, and the rest of his time visiting with family and friends. He was loved by many and respected by all.

Viewing will be held from 9am-5pm on Monday, July 20, 2020. Please join Tim’s family to bid him farewell at Barber Cemetery for a graveside service on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00am and for a celebration of his life immediately afterwards at the Dry Creek Community Building. Flowers can be sent to Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell, OK.
